| Wanna know everything about WP7? The guys at Seles Games give you Windows Phone News, a news reader focused on feeds concerning our favorite phone OS.WP7 News is based on the same engine as Weave, one of the best RSS readers available out there. News source include general purpose tech blogs such as Engadget and ZDnet; phone-centric blogs, like Mobiletechworld and Pocket-lint and Windows Phone focused sources like WPcentral, WMpoweruser and EverythingWM.
Like its cousin, Weave, the app manages the news efficiently: feeds load fast enough (on WiFi is faster, of course) and the navigation is well integrated with the Metro UI.
Tapping on the article details opens an internal browser that uses Google Mobilizer to get a lightweight, mobile optimized version of the web page you want to read. News articles can be shared on Facebook or via email and the real web site can be opened inside WP7 IE for a richer browsing experience.
Besides the news feeds, the app offers a Featured News tab, the latest WP7 tweets and a selection of apps called today’s apps.
So, even BestWP7Apps.net is still not one of the sources included in WP7 News (argh!), we *still* believe this app is worth your taps: it is a great source of information for everything related to WP7, packaged in a great and complete app. Best of all… it’s free!
