Windows Phone NoDo update rolling out to WP7.

Breaking news: we have reports from Europe that some customers are receiving the NoDo update. This has also been reported in the US by ZDNet and the Washington Post.

This update includes copy and paste, support for CDMA, faster startup and apps switch as well as bug fixing.

Update:

The release is also officially posted on the Windows Phone web site with the details of what this dot release includes. Among the improvements, the search will now return only the things in the current hub; so for example inside the music hub it will return only music and so on.

Note that the NoDo build is 7390 (7.0.7390.0), while the initial patch was 7008, and WP7 RTM was 7004. To find out which build you are in, go to Settings, About and select More Info. All the details on how to get ready for the update and how to install it are here.

I’ve got an unlocked Omnia 7 running version 7.0.7004 and apparently there are no updates available. Big fat 0.0 wtf shouldn’t I be on 7008 at least? My phone had better not be neutered. I’m having a hard time loving wp7 as it is :S
